The control unit (7) has a control unit interface (20) which is alternatively connected with a keyboard interface of specific welding torch and a data interface (28) of preset welding torch (26). The control unit interface has conductor terminals (21a,21b) for connection with keyboard interface or data interface. A power supply unit (10) is connected with electric circuit of keyboard interface. An independent claim is included for connection structure for connecting control unit interface with keyboard interface or data interface.
