PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of the users of a business instrument by discriminating a user and inhibiting setting operation condition or the recording operation of the business instrument when the discriminated user doesn't correspond to a register in advance registered. CONSTITUTION:A menu sheet 3 which is provided with an information specifying column of which the style is in advance defined and a sheet reading means 2 which reads information in the information specifying column of the menu sheet 3 are provided. Besides, the operation condition of the business instrument is set based on the information read by means of the sheet reading means 2, and a user is discriminated by making reference to user discriminating information contained in the information specifying column of the menu sheet 3. When the discriminated user doesn't corresponds to the register which is in advance registered, setting the operation condition or the recording operation of the business instrument is inhibited. Thus, the use of the business instrument can be controlled with respect to unauthorized users. |
