The present invention relates to an assembling device which elastically assembles and fixes a torsion spring on an automobile seat having a height adjustment function for a cushion frame. When an automobile seat (10) on which a torsion spring is temporarily assembled enters between a left and a right rotation tool (52, 54) along a jig (68), a push rod (62) of the rotation tool (54) disposed on the opposite side of the temporarily assembled torsion spring (28) pushes the torsion spring (28) to mount a stopping part (26) of the torsion spring (28) in a mounting groove of the rotation tool (52) on one side. Then the rotation tool (52) on the one side is rotated to elastically twist the rotation tool (52). Then when the push rod (60, 62) is operated and the rotation tool (52) on the one side is moved backwards while the torsion spring (28) is fully mounted by a forward movement of the rotation tool (52) on the one side, the stopping part (26) is separated from the rotation tool (52) on the one side and stopped by a stopping protrusion (20) of the automobile seat (10) to complete assembling work. The assembling work can be performed quickly and easily without assistance of a worker.
