The packaging comprises a length of elastic material 10 secured at or towards its ends to foldable sheet material 12, in which at the time that the length of elastic material is so secured: the length of elastic material is bent and/or twisted and the foldable sheet material is not in its fully erected configuration, so that as the foldable sheet material is folded towards its fully erected configuration the length of elastic material is deployed to a position in which it can be stretched to extend behind contents within the packaging so as to bias the contents in a predetermined direction, e.g. to a zone for display to or removal by a customer. As items are removed from the packaging, the remaining items are pushed into a removal zone so that the items remain highly visible to a customer, when the packaging is placed on a shelf. Corresponding methods and apparatus for manufacturing such packaging are also disclosed. |
