发明名称 Verwendung von Di-imidazolen zum optischen Aufhellen von Materialien aus Acrylnitrilpolymerisaten
摘要 Detergent compositions contain, as an optical brightening agent, a non-quaternary compound having no dyestuff character which is colourless or only slightly coloured, contains no free or neutralized sulphonic acid or carboxylic acid groups, fluoresces green-blue to violet in solution or on a substratum in daylight or ultraviolet light, and has the formula <FORM:0828545/III/1> in which A and A1 are benzene residues fused with the hetero rings in the manner indicated, which benzene residues may be substituted by alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino or acylamino groups or halogen atoms. Specified detergents are soaps, sulphonated benzimidazole derivatives, salts of monocarboxylic acid esters of 4-sulphophthalic acid with higher fatty alcohols, salts of fatty alcohol sulphates, alkylaryl sulphonic acids, condensation products of higher fatty acids with aliphatic hydroxy- or amino-sulphonic acids, and polyglycol ethers of fatty alcohols, alkyl phenols or fatty amines. The compositions may also contain alkali-metal carbonates, phosphates, pyrophosphates, polyphosphates, metaphosphates, silicates, perborates or percarbonates. In Example (2), a washing composition for polyester fibres comprises soap, sodium carbonate, sodium pyrophosphate, sodium perborate, magnesium silicate and a b -di-[5-methyl-benzoxazolyl-(2)-ethylene. Specification 623,428 is referred to.ALSO:a : b - Di - [5 - methyl - benzoxazolyl - 2] - ethylene is prepared by reacting fumaric acid dichloride with 1-amino-2-hydroxy-5-methyl benzene in chlorbenzene and heating the resulting fumaric acid diamide with zinc chloride in ethylene glycol. The product may be used as an optical brightening agent for materials composed of polyester resins (see Group IV (c)).ALSO:Fibres, foils and other materials composed of polyesters, e.g of terephthalic acid, are optically brightened by treatment with a nonquaternary compound having no dyestuff character which is colourless or only slightly coloured, contains no free or neutralized sulphonic acid or carboxylic acid groups, fluoresces green-blue to violet in solution or on a substratum in daylight or ultra-violet light, and has the formula <FORM:0828545/IV(c)/1> in which A and A1 are benzene residues fused with the hetero rings in the manner indicated, which benzene residues may be substituted by alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino or acylamino groups or halogen atoms. The compounds may be dissolved or dispersed, e.g. with the aid of soaps, polyglycol ethers of fatty alcohols or fatty amines, cellulose sulphite waste liquor or condensation products of formaldehyde with naphthalene sulphonic acids which may be alkylated, in an aqueous medium and applied to the fibrous materials, which may be at any stage of production or may be in the form of yarns, monofilaments or fabrics, in neutral, weakly alkaline or acid baths, and preferably at 90 DEG C. to boiling point. The compounds may be applied in combination with other processes as follows: (a) in admixture with dyestuffs, e.g. with coloured anthracene derivatives containing at least one nuclear bound oxo group or at least one hydroxyl group or a non-water-solubilizing sulphur-containing substituent, in which the number of any basic nitrogen-containing groups does not exceed the number of hydroxyl groups and sulphur-containing groups, such as 1-hydroxyanthraquinone, 1 - amino - 4 : 5 : 8 - trihydroxyanthraquinone and 1 - amino - 4 - hydroxyanthraquinone, or as additions to dye baths, printing, discharge or reserve pastes, or for the after-treatment of dyeings, prints or discharge prints, especially in the soaping process. (a) In bleaching and washing processes. The compounds may be added separately to the baths or may be provided in compositions containing such detersive compounds as soaps, sulphonated benzimidazole derivatives, salts of monocarboxylic acid esters of 4-sulphophthalic acid with higher fatty alcohols, various other sulphonated organic compounds, and various non-ionic compounds, and also alkali-metal carbonates, phosphates, pyrophosphates, polyphosphates, metaphosphates, silicates, perborates or percarbonates. In examples: (2) polyester fibres are washed with a soap which contains a : b - di - [5 - methylbenzoxazolyl-(2)]-ethylene in a bath which may also contain sodium hypochlorite, or with a composition which comprises soap, sodium carbonate, sodium pyrophosphate, sodium perborate, magnesium silicate and a : b -di-[5-methyl-benzoxazolyl - (2)] - ethylene; (4) a polyester fabric is treated in an aqueous bath containing a : b -di - [5 - methylbenzoxazolyl - (2)] - ethylene and peracetic acid or formic acid and sodium chlorite. (c) In conjunction with anti-crease and other finishing processes. In Example (5) a fabric is treated at 80-90 DEG C. in an aqueous bath containing potato starch, ammonia and a : b - di - [5 - methylbenzoxazolyl - (2)] - ethylene. Polyester materials may also be treated with the fluorescent brightening agent in aqueous media containing sodium bisulphate, urea nitrate or tartaric acid. Specification 623,428 is referred to.ALSO:Fibres, foils and other materials composed of polyesters, e.g of terephthalic acid, are optically brightened by treatment with a non-quaternary compound having no dyestuff character which is colourless or only slightly coloured, contains no free or neutralized sulphonic acid or carboxylic acid groups, fluoresces green-blue to violet in solution or on a substratum in daylight or ultraviolet light, and has the formula <FORM:0828545/IV (a)/1> in which A and A1 are benzene residues fused with the hereto rings in the manner indicated, which benzene residues may be substituted by alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino or acylamino groups or halogen atoms. The compounds may be included in spinning or moulding compositions. Specification 623,438 is referred to.
