The arrangement has several bulb supports (100) to carry LEDs of several LED groups (150). Each of the LED groups comprises a common direction of the light output, such that the characteristics of the total light output are variable by varying the light output of the LED groups. A control unit is provided to control the light output of the LED groups to vary. An independent claim is included for lamp.
