<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an engine operation state for sensor diagnosis at an early stage, when starting diagnosis of a sensor for operating state detection of an engine during vehicle traveling in a series-type hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When transmitting a sensor diagnosis start signal to a hybrid controller 8 before diagnosis of a sensor and receiving a reply signal corresponding to the transmission, an engine controller 8 causes an engine 2 to be in an operation state for the diagnosis of the sensor and diagnosis the sensor on the basis of an output of the sensor. When the sensor diagnosis start signal is received from the engine controller 8, the hybrid controller 9 transmits the reply signal for the reception to the engine controller 8, and causes an electric power generation motor 3 to be in an operation state for the diagnosis of the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
