The device has a fixed frame (1) and an electric motor (3) having an output shaft that is connected to a movable part (2). The movable part is mounted to pivotal part in relation to the fixed frame. A pair of magnets (4, 5) is respectively mounted on the fixed frame and the moving part, where the fixed frame and moving part are provided in face to face position by swiveling the moving part. The magnets are polarized to attract one another when the magnets are in an opposing position and exert a torque for reversing a mobile magnetic part to the opposing position. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an angular positioning device. |
