The present invention provides a balloon which can be maintained folded without the use of a folded position holding member. A balloon (1) is formed by overlaying two plastic films (10, 12) and joining the peripheral edges (5). The balloon (1) has a first portion (2) and a second portion (3), which are arranged with a folding section (4) provided therebetween. The folding section (4) has: an air flow hole (55) for connecting, within the balloon, the first portion (2) and the second portion (3); and a folding seal section (54) formed by joining the two plastic films (10, 12) facing each other in a region inside the peripheral edges (5). The folding seal section (54) has an outer peripheral edge (40) extending to the outside of the folding section (4) and reaching the first portion (2) and the second portion (3). |
