A handle assembly comprises a handle and a system for delivering liquid to the handle. The handle comprises a sleeve-like grip 44 and a core 48, e.g. comprising a liquid absorbent such as a sponge or foam and containing channels 52, located in the grip; the grip is rotatable about the core. Bearings 50, e.g. an array of ball bearings, extend through, and are rotatable with respect to, the grip 44. The liquid delivery system delivers liquid between the core 48 and grip 44. The handle may include a liquid inlet 32. The bearings may engage the core so that they rotate on rotating the grip. The liquid delivery system may include a pump operable in response to rotation of the grip. The handle may contain a compartment for holding liquid. Also claimed is the handle suitable for use with, but without, the liquid delivery system. |
