<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication device capable of realizing a communication system utilizing an IC chip of an electromagnetic induction type at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system 10 communicates between a first information storage medium 40 and a communication device 20. The first information storage medium 40 includes: a first IC chip 41 capable of communication in an electromagnetic induction method or electromagnetic coupling method; and a pair of conductive plates 42A, 42B coupled to the first IC chip 41 and having conductivity. The communication device 20 includes: a communication device side loop antenna 21a; a pair of conductive members 32A, 32B coupled to both ends of the communication device side loop antenna 21a and having conductivity; and a controlling unit 27 that performs communication processing. The controlling unit 27 performs communication processing with the first IC chip 41 of the first information storage medium 40, by electrostatic coupling of the pair of conductive members 32A, 32B and the pair of conductive plates 42A, 42B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
