摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor unit which allows satisfactory printing even in a small-sized and high-speed image forming apparatus by cancelling a potential difference between an exposure part and an unexposed part on a photoreceptor drum surface to prevent image defects.SOLUTION: The photoreceptor unit includes a photoreceptor 1, a charging member 2 for charging a surface of the photoreceptor when forming an image, and a static eliminator for irradiating the surface of the photoreceptor with static elimination light to eliminate static electricity before the surface of the photoreceptor is charged by the charging member. When the time of movement from a static elimination light irradiation position to a contact position with the charging member on the surface of the photoreceptor is denoted as Te and Te is shorter than 0.020 seconds, (0.006 seconds)<(N×(Vc/Vd))/Vd is satisfied where Vd is a surface speed of the photoreceptor, Vc is a surface speed of a charging roller, and N is a nip width between the photoreceptor and the charging roller.
