Provided is a device for operating a vehicular parking brake that is free of lateral rattling in an operation pedal and that has a simple configuration. The end part (44b) on the operation pedal (20) side of a return spring (44) wound into a coil around a rotational axis center (S) is molded into a bend so that the operation pedal (20) is urged toward the side plate part (14b) of a left bracket (14) when in an attached state. The return spring (44) wound into a coil is therefore disposed at an incline so that the entire return spring twists, and the operation pedal (20) receives a moment (M) in a direction in which the tread surface of a pedal pad (22) thereof is directed toward the side plate part (14b) of the left bracket (14). Lateral rattling of the operation pedal (20) is thereby suitably suppressed by the moment (M) with a simple configuration in which the end part on the operation pedal (20) side of the return spring (44) is molded into a bend so as to be urged toward the side plate part (14b) of the left bracket (14).
