The invention relates to a superstructure for mounting a first commercial vehicle onto a vehicle chassis, comprising both a locking mechanism for fastening an exchangeable cargo carrier to the superstructure and a receptacle for fastening a second commercial vehicle to the superstructure. A method for transporting a first towing vehicle, a first trailer, a second towing vehicle and a second trailer from a starting location to a destination location comprises the steps of loading the second trailer onto one of the towing vehicles or the first trailer at the starting location; loading the second towing vehicle onto the first trailer at the starting location, and driving the first towing vehicle with attached first trailer from the starting location to the destination location. |
