A method for determining a channel estimate is described comprising receiving a first signal via a plurality of first communication resources and a second signal via a plurality of second communication resources, determining a first channel estimate for the plurality of first communication resources and a second channel estimate for the plurality of second communication resources, wherein both channel estimates describe the channel between the receiver and an interfering station. Determining a combination of the channel estimates and estimating a component of the combination that depends on the plurality of first communication resources removing the estimated component from the channel combination and determining a channel estimate for the plurality of second communication resources based on a remainder of the combination after removing the estimated component, such that a channel estimate between the receiver and the serving station is determined. |
