<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system allowing an effective use of stored power at normal time while sufficiently functioning as an emergency power supply at power outage. <P>SOLUTION: A power storage device 1 is adapted to supply stored power to a load 9 at power outage. The power storage device 1 is portable when released from the connection, and can supply the stored power to an electric device when it is connected to a discharging connection part 8 in a release state.
