The invention relates to a process used for the combined superficial processing, in liquid and solid phase, of the pieces made of steel and to a hardening paste used within the process. According to the invention, the process has three stages: a. micro-alloying the piece directly from the liquid phase, by means of the micro-alloy paste deposited on the walls of the casting mould, b. the piece micro-alloyed from the liquid phase (6) is coated with a hardening mixture (3) and is centered into the inductor (5) so that, when the high frequency electric current (7) passes, the currents (1) induced by the lines of electromagnetic field (9) carry out the piece heating, allowing the formation, by structural modifications, of the superficial hardened micro-alloyed layer (8) and c. in the last stage the final thermal treatment is carried out, being based on quenching and tempering in various embodiments, depending on the piece stress and use conditions. As claimed by the invention, the hardening mixture consists of 35% metallic powders and 65% carburization elements. |
