The present invention relates to a device for drying food waste, which heats food waste to evaporate moisture by utilizing heat generated from a refrigerator and a condenser, and effectively dries the food waste as the evaporated moisture is discharged by passing through an evaporator with a cooling coil. The device for drying food waste in accordance with the present invention comprises: a drying part (20) with a drying tank (30) for drying food waste; and a moisture removing part (40) with a condensing unit (41) which condenses air of high temperature and humidity of the drying part (20) to change into dry air of low temperature. In this regard, the drying part (20) includes an opening and closing door (23) for input of food waste at a top, and an air inflow device (25) for inflow of the air of high temperature and humidity inside the drying part (20) into the moisture removing part (40). In addition, the drying tank (30) includes an internal drying tank (31) formed in a shape of a net to store the input food waste, and an external drying tank (33) by which the internal drying tank (31) is held. Also, the external drying tank (33) further has an air circulation unit (35) whose upper part is partially formed in the shape of a net. |
