APPARATUS FOR GRAMMATICAL ERROR CORRECTION AND METHOD USING THE SAME

A grammar error correcting device and a grammar error correcting method using the same are disclosed. The grammar error correcting device comprises: an error candidate generating unit configured to generate an error candidate word and an error candidate group based on a grammar error corpus with respect to an input text; a router configured to extract a context frame group based on the error candidate word and the error candidate group; a score calculation unit configured to calculate n-gram score with respect to the context frame group; and a word correction unit configured to correct the input text by using the n-gram score. Therefore, n-gram scores with respect to grammar errors are compared with each other by a context frame group from the input text inputted by the user thereby efficiently correcting a grammar error of a foreign language learner. And the grammar error included in the input text is accurately corrected so as to effectively learn a foreign language.
