The present invention relates to an elevator flooding preventing device for an apartment house. The device comprises: one pair of storage boxes installed on front walls (22, 24) located at both sides of an elevator gate (20), respectively and symmetrical to each other; door connection plates (31) installed on the sides of the storage boxes; doors (40) configured to open and close opened portions of the storage boxes; and hinge packings (32) installed between the doors and the door connection plates. Therefore, the device prevents an elevator from being flooded by rainwater.
