PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a motor with relatively high efficiency even if a current sensor and a rotational position sensor connected to the motor are out of order.SOLUTION: A motor controller maintains beforehand in a map memory 22, a temperature, a current value and a rotation frequency detected when a reference motor is used and the rotation thereof is controlled with respect to a desired torque in advance. Then, even if failure occurs in any one of sensors, the motor controller reads out current values Id, Iq on a target dq coordinate from the map memory 22 in accordance with the temperature detected at the failure. On the basis of the current values Id, Iq, the motor controller performs vector inverse conversion to calculate a voltage value at each phase and controls a motor 13. Consequently, the motor can be driven with relatively high efficiency even if a sensor is out of order. |
