PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having an excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency and a high durability.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element comprises: a base substance 1; a first electrode 2; a photoelectric conversion layer 6 containing a semiconductor 5 on which a sensitization dye 4 is supported; a solid-state hole transport layer 7; and a second electrode 8. The sensitization dye 4 contains a dye compound represented by the following general formula (1). The solid-state hole transport layer 7 contains a polymer formed by polymerizing a compound represented by the following general formula (2), or a polymer formed by polymerizing a multimer of the compound represented by the following general formula (2). |
