<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hull construction and a ship for reducing a resistance increase in waves without increasing the smooth water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The hull construction includes an overflow inlet 3 formed above the static water level elevated position C of a hull 2, an overflow outlet 4 formed below the draft D of the hull 2, and an overflow passage 5 provided between the overflow inlet 3 and the overflow outlet 4. The influence on the hull 2 caused by waves 6 can be suppressed by taking in the waves 6 from the overflow inlet 3 and discharging the waves from the overflow outlet 4 via the overflow passage 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
