To make it possible to place, in an accommodation section structure for a saddle type vehicle, a drink on an upper face of a lid in a state in which an occupant is seated on a seat. In an accommodation section structure for a saddle type vehicle which includes a front portion cover 130 which covers a front portion of the vehicle, a seat disposed behind the front portion cover 130 and configured to be seated by an occupant, an article accommodation section 132 provided in the front portion cover 130, and a lid 134 provided on a vertical wall portion of the front portion cover 130 on the seat side and configured to openably close up an opening 142 of the article accommodation section 132, the lid 134 is disposed in an inclined state such that, in the state in which the accommodation section 132 is closed, a comparatively outer side portion thereof in a vehicle widthwise direction is positioned comparatively forwardly as viewed in top plan and has a drink holder recessed portion 160 on an upper face 158 thereof in the state in which the lid 134 is open, and the drink holder recessed portion 160 is disposed on the outer side in the vehicle widthwise direction with respect to the center of a vehicle body. |
