The invention relates to a plant for producing thermal energy, intended for heating various spaces, such as dwellings, or industrial spaces, such as production departments. According to the invention, the plant uses, as a fuel, gaseous hydrogen and oxygen obtained by water electrolysis, and comprises the following components: a water tank (5) with closing/opening float system which provides a preset operation autonomy, a 12 V feeder (1) which provides the current needed for the electrolysis process, an electrolytic cell, where the process itself is optimized as regards the electric power consumption by a system which generates pulsating direct current in RLC resonance, a network of pipes and fittings wherethrough hydrogen and oxygen are led to a bubbler (15) and then led to a one-way valve (17) which prevents the gases from returning to the bubbler, a combustion chamber (20), the thermal energy resulting from gas combustion being taken over by two heat exchangers (24) which provide heating of the room in which the plant is mounted, the resulting vapours being collected in a vapour recovery device (25), while the water resulting from condensation is recycled. |
