<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry food improved in restorability even when having large thickness or the like, in the field of a dry food restored by pouring boiling water or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The dry food is improved in restorability by forming a plurality of fine pores by laser processing. The laser processing can be conducted at a timing after or before drying treatment of a target food to be dried, but preferably before the drying treatment.
