<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the artifact of a low frequency ring without performing the rearrangement in a detector. <P>SOLUTION: An X-ray tube generates X-rays. A high voltage generation part applies a high voltage to the X-ray tube. A plurality of X-ray detection elements detect the X-rays generated from the X-ray tube and transmitted through a subject. The X-ray detector comprises the plurality of X-ray detection elements. A first calculation part applies a first voltage generated by the high voltage generation part to the X-ray tube to calculate the ratio between a first output value outputted in each of the plurality of X-ray detection elements and a second output value outputted in each of the plurality of X-ray detection elements by applying a second voltage higher than the first voltage generated by the high voltage generation part to the X-ray tube, in each of the plurality of X-ray detection elements. A second calculation part calculates a correction amount for reducing the unevenness of the output properties of the plurality of X-ray detection elements in each of the plurality of X-ray detection elements by use of the calculated ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
