PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear grinder in which a discharged grinding oil can be reduced.SOLUTION: A gear grinder includes a grindstone for grinding a work-piece which becomes a gear, a grinding spindle for rotationally driving the grindstone, a work table for mounting the work-piece thereon, and a coolant nozzle for discharging a grinding oil during grinding of the work-piece. The coolant nozzle has a notch part larger than a crest part of a grinding tooth of the grindstone, a part of the grinding tooth enters in the notch part, and the coolant nozzle and the grindstone do not contact with each other. Plural grinding oil discharge ports are formed at a tip of the coolant nozzle, and these plural grinding oil discharge ports are formed at a position facing a trough part of the grinding tooth of the grindstone. |
