A method for producing a fishing net is disclosed. Some sections and the other sections of the net are respectively formed of threads different in dyeing property, and then the net is dyed.

1. A method for producing a fishing net, the method including the steps of:
preparing threads that are respectively formed of polymers that are different in copolymerization ratio for exhibiting different dyeing property; forming a plurality of distinct sections of the fishing net from the threads that are respectively different in dyeing property for each section, each section being formed of threads having a dyeing property and each section including threads having the same dyeing property and the dyeing property of the other sections each being a different dyeing property; and dyeing the thus formed entire net at one time using only a single dye to obtain a net having a varying color or color density by section.
