The present invention relates to a method, a system, and a computer program product for processing a travel request. The travel request is received by a reservation system which identifies a travel inventory item and a travel reservation record (a passenger name record). It is determined whether the travel reservation record includes a corporate identifier. When the travel reservation record includes the corporate identifier, corporate value data is determine, and a validity request including the corporate identifier and the corporate value data communicates with at least one inventory system associated with the at least one travel inventory item. A validity response indicating a validity determined with respect to the at least one travel inventory item is received, and the determined validity is at least partially based on the corporate identifier and the corporate value data. |
