A multi-layered ceramic capacitor (1) comprises: a laminate (11) wherein a dielectric layer (10) and an internal electrode layer (12) whose main component is nonmetal are alternately laminated; and an external electrode (13) having an external electrode main body (13a) formed on a surface of the laminate (11) and a plating layer (13b, 13c) formed on a surface of the external electrode main body (13a). The external electrode main body (13a) comprises Cu, and a protective layer (20) comprising Cu_2O is disposed on a joining portion between the external electrode main body (13a) and the plating layer (13b). If a quantity of hydrogen produced from the laminate (11) is measured by heating the laminate (11) after removing the external electrode (13), a ratio (Xa/Y) of a calculated average value Xa of a hydrogen quantity produced per unit temperature in a range of 350°C or higher to a calculated average value Y of a hydrogen quantity produced per unit temperature in a range of 230-250°C inclusively is 0.66 or lower. |
