The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a carbon nanofiber electrode supported with a metal oxide layer, which includes the following steps: manufacturing carbon nanofibers; activating the surfaces of the carbon nanofibers; immersing the activated carbon nanotubes in an electro-deposition solution; depositing the metal oxide layer on the activated carbon nanotubes by an electro-deposition method; and treating, with heat, the carbon nanotubes on which the metal oxide layer is electro-deposited. The present invention provides a method for synthesizing the carbon nanofiber electrode in a short time by a relatively simple process. The carbon nanofibers manufactured by the method of the present invention have high charging and discharging capacity, strength, and conductivity. |
