The objective of the present invention is to process image data at high speed without loss by buffering the image data using one DRAM placed outside an FPGA, and by linking with the DRAM dividing a buffer inside the FPGA into three buffers. To that end, the present invention provides an image transmission device using PCI. The device includes: an input unit into which image data from the outside is inputted; a latch unit which latches the image data; a first image processing unit which writes the latched image data in a first buffer module inside, reads the image data stored in the first buffer module to write the read image data in an external memory, detects an operation of the memory in real time, reads the image data stored in the memory, and writes the image data in a second image processing unit; the second image processing unit which determines the state of a third image processing unit, reads the image data stored in the second buffer module only if the buffer of the third image processing unit is not full, and writes the read image data in the third image processing unit; the third image processing unit in which the image data to be outputted to the outside through an output unit is stored; the output unit which generates PCI packets from the image data stored in the third image processing unit and outputs the packets to the outside; and a PLL unit which changes the processing frequency of the image data depending on the resolution of the inputted image data. |
