Disclosed is a width-variable vehicle for a railway track. The width-variable vehicle for the railway track according to the present invention includes: driving units in both sides where track wheels joined to the railway track and operated are mounted; a main frame arranged between the driving units in both sides and having an upper part where an excavator is mounted; multiple bridges folded while connecting both sides of the main frame and the driving units in both sides and adhering to a lateral surface of the main frame or separated from the lateral surface of the main frame; a foldable operating unit inducing the multiple bridges to be folded, and composed of a hydraulic cylinder joined to the inside of the main frame and having a cylinder rod taken into or taken out from the inside of the main frame by a power supply, an operating member joined to one end of the cylinder rod, joined to the inside of the main frame, and moving forward and backward in a longitudinal direction, and a folding induction member of which one end is hinge-joined to both sides of the operating member and the other end is hinge-joined to both bridges; multiple auxiliary wheel units formed in the lower side of the multiple brides and operated in a direction perpendicular to the track wheels; a lifting unit lifting the multiple auxiliary wheel units to be seated on the track wheels or separated from the track wheels; and an auxiliary rail arranged to be perpendicular to the railway track and where the auxiliary wheel units are seated. |
