The present invention relates to a wheel having a built-in ring type brake and, more specifically, to a wheel having a built-in ring type brake, which enables a weak user, such as the old and weak, to easily prevent a wheel from rotating through a ring type brake ring embedded in the wheel. The wheel having a built-in ring type brake comprises: multiple brake rings which are connected to a wire pulled by the pressure of a pressing unit; a core which penetrates the centers of the brake rings and is separated from the inner surface of the brake ring by a predetermined distance; a rotation body which has flanges located in both ends of the core; and a rotary shaft which penetrates the center of the rotation body to allow the rotation body to rotate. When the pressing unit is pressed, the wire lifts up the brake rings to allow the inner surfaces of the brake rings to come in contact with the core and prevents the rotation body from rotating using the frictional force between the core of the rotation body coming in contact with the core and the brake rings. |
