The blade has reinforcements (40, 50) provided in a leading edge (26) and/or a trailing edge of the blade, where each reinforcement covers or forms each edge of the blade. The reinforcements are extended into a longitudinal dimension from the edge. The reinforcements include anchoring units and/or fixing units for fixing the reinforcements on the blade. The reinforcements are formed by a U-shaped lengthened profile in a shape of rail. The lengthened profile comprises a longitudinal strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a blade of a turboshaft engine.
