The present invention relates to a preparation method of a polyimide molded article, which comprises the steps of: a) injecting or applying a dianhydride monomer salt and a diamine monomer salt or a solution of the monomer salt to a molding apparatus; and b) preparing a polyimide molded article by imidizing the monomer salt or the solution of the monomer salt through heating and molding at the same time. According to the present invention, the preparation method can directly manufacture a polyimide molded article from the dianhydride monomer salt and diamine monomer salt or the solution of the monomer salt, and thus has simplified manufacturing steps while having low costs. The polyimide molded article manufactured according to the present invention has high molecular weight in comparison to a polyimide molded article manufactured according to a conventional method, thereby having excellent thermal stability and mechanical properties.
