The present invention relates to fabric for a woven tape. More specifically, the fabric for a woven tape is woven to include raw yarn coated with a hot melt resin and is treated with heat. Therefore, loosening of an edge, wrinkle, and curling are prevented even when the fabric is cut according to the size of the width. Accordingly, the width of the fabric can be adjusted in an easy manner. A process for the fabric can be simplified as an additional process (such as a process of finishing a side or formation of the surface or a center resin layer) can be excluded. When the fabric is cut to manufacture the woven tape, the whole shape of the woven tape can be designed to have various shapes; durability and abrasion resistance of the woven tape can be also increased; and adhesiveness can be provided to the fabric and increased. The fabric is manufactured by weaving the raw yarn, coated with the hot melt resin, by a flat, tricot, circular, or jacquard method. |
