The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of an avian protein powder concentrate containing all of the essential amino acids required by the human body for optimal cell nutrition. Said protein is obtained substantially from chicken or turkey slurry, but can also be obtained from beef or pork slurry. The product provides a high protein content of about 70%. With the product of the present invention the control of the daily protein intake can be easily met without major complications due to its presentation as powder and a specialized handling or storage is not required, its preparation for the intake being immediate, since it can be dissolved in water, juice, or any edible aqueous solution. |
