The present invention relates to a liquid metal temperature compensated flow measuring instrument installed in a fast reactor using a liquid metal as a coolant to measure a flow of the liquid metal, and a method to measure the flow of the liquid metal thereof. The method to measure the flow of the liquid metal comprises: a step of receiving flow signals corresponding to the flow of the liquid metal from an electromagnetic sensor to measure the flow of the liquid metal using an electromagnetic induction phenomenon; a step of receiving temperature signals corresponding to temperatures of the liquid metal from a thermocouple sensor to measure the temperature of the liquid metal using a thermal electromotive force; a step of converting a flow signal into an output signal based on a temperature value acquired from the temperature signal to compensate for an error in the flow signal in accordance with changes of the temperature; and a step of outputting the output signal.
