Provided is a burner for a gas range, which can suppress inflow of flames by backflow into the supply passage in a ring-shaped burner and secure the supply quantity of second air. The supply passage comprises: a reduced diameter unit whose diameter is reduced toward the narrowest unit from the bottom end; and an extended diameter unit whose diameter is extended toward the top end of the narrowest unit. In a status where a heat-reducing head of a temperature detecting unit is pressed by a drip pan, the position of the bottom end of the most external unit of the heat-reducing head is set to be from the top end of the supply passage to the narrowest unit. Therefore, for the backflow by a negative pressure generated in the bottom of the burner for a gas range, the passage resistance can be increased by inserting the most external unit of the heat-reducing head into the extended diameter unit. Thus, the inflow of flames by backflow can be suppressed. As well, for the flow of second air, the most external unit of the heat-reducing head is not inserted into the bottommost part than the narrowest unit, and the increase in the passage resistance is suppressed, and it becomes possible to secure the supply quantity of second air. |
