PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LDH-containing composite material having a layered double hydroxide (LDH)-containing functional layer which is highly densified on a porous base material and/or in the porous base material.SOLUTION: A layered double hydroxide-containing composite material contains: a porous base material formed of at least one polymer material selected from the group consisting of polystyrene, polyether sulfone, polypropylene, an epoxy resin, and polyphenylene sulfide; and a functional layer which is formed on a porous base material and/or in the porous base material, contains a layered double hydroxide represented by the general formula: MM(OH)AmHO (in the general formula, Mis a divalent cation, Mis a trivalent cation, Ais an n-valent anion, n is an integer of 1 or more, x is 0.1-0.4 and m is 0 or more), and has no water permeability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
