PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a dyeing apparatus capable of dyeing a resin body with high quality in a short period of time; and a method for producing a dyed resin body.SOLUTION: There is provided a dyeing apparatus which fixes a dye to a resin body by heating the resin body onto a dyeing surface of which a dye is attached. The dyeing apparatus comprises an electromagnetic wave generating unit for generating an electromagnetic wave, temperature detection means for detecting a temperature and a control unit for controlling the operation of the dyeing apparatus. The control unit causes the dyeing apparatus to perform an irradiation step of making the temperature detected by the temperature detection means to be closer to a target temperature by irradiating an electromagnetic wave to the resin body during the processing time while controlling an applied heat quantity which is a heat quantity applied to the resin body by an electromagnetic wave per unit time. In the irradiation step, when the temperature detected by the temperature detection means reaches a target temperature, the control unit performs control to reduce the applied heat quantity before shortening the processing time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 |
