PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device capable of reproducing voice content from an appropriate position.SOLUTION: A server device for communicating with a provider device and a client device includes: a voice synthesis unit that receives text content from the provider device, and generates voice content, a synthesis voice of the text content; a travel speed calculation unit that receives current position information indicating the current position of a user of the client device per prescribed time, calculates the travel speed of the user of the client device, and outputs it as travel speed information; a presentation distance calculation unit that calculates presentation distance indicating distance between the registration position of the text content and a position of the voice content where the reproduction of the voice content will be started, and outputs it as presentation distance information; and a transmission unit that calculates distance between the current position and the registration position whenever the current position information is received, and transmits the corresponding voice content to the client device if the calculated distance equals to the presentation distance or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
