The invention relates to a console system (S) for motor vehicles (C1, C2), a first operator console (10) comprising a multi-functional first control element (16) being provided for a first motor vehicle (C1), and a second operator console (12) comprising a multi-functional second control element (18) that is designed differently from the first control element (16) being provided for a second motor vehicle (C2). The aim of the invention is to provide users with a model-independent operating aid for different models of operator consoles (10, 12, 14). In order to achieve said aim, a first button (26) is arranged next to the first control element (16) in the first operator console (10), and a second button (26) is arranged next to the second control element (18) in the second operator console (12), the first button (26) and the second button (26) are mono-functional buttons, and the first button (26) and the second button (26) are designed to trigger one and the same function (F1) in the first operator console (10) and in the second operator console (12). |
