Provided is a light source device with which it is possible for a recognizable region, in which an indicated position can be recognized, to be adjusted appropriately, while suppressing erroneous recognition of the indicated position. A light source unit (101) is provided with an invisible-light emitting unit (201) which emits an invisible light beam, and a visible light emitting unit (202) which emits a visible light beam. A light source control unit (102) causes the invisible light beam and/or the visible light beam to be emitted from the light source (101). A propagation control unit (103) causes the emitted light beam emitted from the light source unit (101) to propagate along a prescribed planar surface. |
