The present invention is to provide a treasure seeking game system and a method thereof capable of enabling easy enjoying of a treasure seeking game in a travel site by connecting the treasure seeking game with a smartphone and capable of improving a marketing effect of the travel site. Disclosed are a treasure seeking game system and a method thereof. The treasure seeking game system comprises: a client terminal in which a treasure seeking application program is installed, a database in which member information, map information of a travel site, a treasure location, level information, and hint information used in treasure seeking are stored; and a treasure seeking server for transmitting location information to the client terminal by loading the location information in the database when the treasure seeking application program installed in the client terminal is executed and when the location information, associated with a location in which the treasure seeking is performed, is selected from the client terminal and for transmitting map information of a travel site to the client terminal by mapping a treasure location corresponding to a corresponding level on the map information when a level for a treasure is inputted from the client terminal. The treasure seeking server transmits a goods exchange coupon for a corresponding treasure to the client terminal by receiving an authentication number printed on the treasure through the client terminal, by determining effectiveness, and by issuing the goods exchange coupon for the corresponding treasure when the client seeks the treasure. |
