The present invention relates to a surge protector, and especially to a surge protector which can be used by being connected to a lighting apparatus. The surge protector of the present invention is connected in parallel to an input line for inputting alternating current power, and limits surge voltage inputted from the alternating current power. Any one side from between a live wire and a ground wire, and between a neutral wire and the ground wire can be provided to operate with a varistor and an arrestor. |
