Provided is an organic light-emitting element having high brightness. The organic light-emitting element has a transparent substrate, a positive electrode, a hole injection layer, an organic light-emitting layer, and a negative electrode. The positive electrode, the hole injection layer, the organic light-emitting layer, and the negative electrode are laminated in the stated order on the transparent substrate. The positive electrode comprises a graphene film. The graphene film is provided with a first graphene film and a second graphene film formed on the first graphene film. The sheet carrier density of the second graphene film is higher than the sheet carrier density of the first graphene film. The work function of the second graphene film may instead or additionally be greater than the work function of the first graphene film. |
