A transmission device of wake-up packets is a transmission device which is connected to a reception device by means of wired/wireless communications and transmits data packets. The device comprises: a transmitting controller which creates wake-up packets for transmitting operation information which sets functions that the reception device executes, after the wake-up of wake-up information which wakes up the reception device and the reception device; and a transmitting communication unit which transmits the wake-up packets to the reception device. According to such transmission and reception devices of wake-up packet, the wake-up system and the wake-up method, the transmitting device can transmit wake-up packets containing operation information as well as wake-up information. In addition, the reception device receives such wake-up packets and performs a setting operation for functions after wake-up. Function setting is completed by means of transmitting/receiving wake-up packets and users enjoy more convenient service. |
